Research
Our research focus on the active constituents from natural products and their mechanism of action, especially for the polycyclic polyprenylated acylphloroglucinols (PPAPs). PPAPs are a structurally intriguing class of natural products, which featured a highly oxygenated acylphloroglucinol coresadorned with prenyl or geranyl side chains. Secondary cyclization of the decorated prenyl or geranyl groups led to a series of complex caged novel structures. We are interested in the discovering of PPAPs with novel structures, the mechanism of active PPAPs and the structure activity relationship.
