The 28^th Guling Scientific Conference was held in Xiamen from January 19^th to 21^st, 2019, sponsored by Fujian Provincial Department of Science and Technology, co-sponsored by School of Pharmaceutical Sciences Xiamen University (XMU-SPS), School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Xiamen Oceanic Administration, Fujian Provincial Key Laboratory for New Drug Targets Research, and other 7 institutions. The theme of the conference is Cross-straits marine active substances and drug innovation research. It consists of 6 academic keynote presentations and roundtable seminars, attended by nearly 60 experts and scholars from cross-straits marine drug related fields.
