On December 4^th, 2020, the seminar on cutting-edge antiviral target drug technology was held in the 426 Lecture Hall, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Xiamen University (XMU-SPS). Renowned experts and scholars such as Prof. Hongmei Li in China National Institute of Metrology, Prof. Zongwei Cai in Hong Kong Baptist University, Prof. Bo Liu in Sichuan University, Prof. Junfeng Zhao in Northwestern Polytechnic University, Prof. Weiguang Zhang in South China Normal University, and Prof. Huilin Li in Sun Yat-sen University were invited to discuss or share their recent research advances, in both online or on-site manner. Prof. Yufen Zhao, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, presided over the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Prof. Xiaokun Zhang, Dean of XMU-SPS, attended the meeting and delivered a welcoming speech. The conference also held a student forum. Xingxing Liu and Chunjing Chen, doctoral students in XMU-SPS, and Xiaoyu Wang, master students, reported their academic expertise and latest research progress. Experts at the conference provided objective comments and valuable guidance. This forum is an important part of the academic activities in XMU-SPS to celebrate the centenary of Xiamen University.
