The third Sino-Regional Biomedicine and Innovation and Development Conference successfully took place on January 5^th and 6^th, 2019, organized by the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences Xiamen University (XMU-SPS). Professor Chieh-Hsi Wu, Vice President of Taipei Medical University, and Prof. Jing-Ping Liou, Dean at College of Pharmacy Taipei Medical University, as well as students or faculty members from Taipei Medical University joined this symposium. Since 2015, the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences Xiamen University (XMU-SPS), and the college of Pharmacy, Taipei Medical University, have regularly held academic exchange meetings, and this is the 3^th meeting. During the conference, 15 faculty members or students from both schools delivered high-quality academic talks. This conference helped to promote deeper communication and understanding between the two schools, and created more opportunities for scientific research collaboration.
