On May 11th, 2021, Times Higher Education released its 2021 China Subject Rating results, and School of Pharmaceutical Sciences - Xiamen University (XMU-SPS) received an A grade. This year's ratings cover 90 universities on the Chinese mainland and 1,420 globally. The grades are based on the subject classification system of the Ministry of Education of China, covering 89 subjects with A+ to C - grading system.
