The Shan-Hai Forum on Biological Medicine and Medical Equipment was successfully held at School of Pharmaceutical Sciences on 17th November. Those in attendance included, Professor Wang Zhaoqin from National Sun Yat-sen University, Professor Ling Wenhua from Sun Yat-sen University, and group members from these two universities, scholars from XMU. Dean of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences Zhang Xiaokun hosted the opening ceremony of the forum.

On behalf of SPS, Dean Zhang Xiaokun warmly welcomed the guests and expressed his sincere thanks to all in attendance. The seminar covered the study of common diseases, preclinical pharmacodynamic evaluation of new drug, tumor related mechanism, medicinal chemistry, Chinese medicine diagnosis and auxiliary medical treatment.

 The forum attracted the teachers and students from School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medical College, School of Life Sciences and School of Public Health. At the discussion section, the scholars from three universities provided their comments and suggestions. They wish both teachers and students from three universities would have more cooperation in future.
