Research

Dr. Fang's research focuses on developing novel bioactive small molecules targeting nuclear receptors (Nur77, RXRα, RARγ) and cyclin dependent kinase (CDKs) for treating diseases, including cancer, HIV, and other inflammatory diseases. Her second area of interest is the application of omics in drug development. Dr. Fang has published over 50 papers in SCI journals (European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Chinese Chemical Letters, Journal of Enzyme Inhibition and Medicinal Chemistry, Bioorganic Chemistry,Organic Chemistry Frontiers, Advanced Synthesis & Catalysis, et al.) and holds several Chinese patents.
